Business visas
Business travelers represent a key population of every global mobility program. Our experienced consular teams are able to provide full support at each step in the application process, from visa assessment and document collection/gathering to the submission of the application, to ensure that all business travelers remain compliant and meet critical business goals. True to our commitment to delivering bespoke immigration services, TS is also able to integrate our business visa process conveniently into your current business travel program.
Work Visas
At T&S, we see our role as our clients’ strategic partner and to help meet their needs to acquire and foster the best talent, wherever and whenever it is needed. We provide best-in-class immigration support to our clients in all areas of their business operations and planning, including trainees and interns, new hires, international assignments, or temporary placements at customer sites. T&S offers a full range of work visa services and seamlessly completes all required steps at government agencies before and after an employee’s arrival in the destination country.
Permanent Residence & Citizenship
Applying for Permanent Residence can have significant benefits for your employees. Employment visas are temporary in nature and restrict the duration that your employees can work in the host country. Countries can place limits on the total number of years for which employees may receive employment visas.
Where employees desire to remain in the host country on a permanent basis, T&S will conduct detailed assessments to identify the most effective available strategies for each employee and their families to obtain permanent residence. Once permanent resident status has been obtained, T&S also works with your employees to ensure that they are aware of the steps that need to be taken (or avoided) to maintain their permanent resident status.
T&S will also advise on possible options for employees to become naturalized citizens of the host country where such an option is desired and available. Acquiring the citizenship of another country through naturalization is a significant step. Along with the right to vote and further integration to the local community, citizenship may also potentially facilitate the ability to travel and work internationally (i.e. based on regional treaties or bilateral agreements, etc.).
As with business visas and temporary work visas, T&S will provide high-touch support to our clients at all steps in the permanent residence/naturalization process to ensure that our clients always feel confident and comfortable.
Document Procurement Services
The immigration process requires extensive documentation and in many cases employees may not have all required documents readily available and it may also not be easy for employees to obtain the missing personal documents. The experienced T&S Document Procurement team can assist and support employees in this area to ensure that their burden during the immigration process is minimized to any extent possible. Whether it is necessary to obtain new certified vital records, court documents, police clearances (local or national), duplicate diplomas, university transcripts, degree verifications, new passports or certified translations, T&S can assist to ensure that the immigration process is not delayed.
Additionally, where required, T&S is also able to help with authenticating, apostilling and legalizing official documents so that these documents are given full legal force in the destination/host country.
Advisory Services & Benchmarking
We support our clients not only during the representation of their employees in immigration matters, but rather we take a holistic approach and look at the “big picture” of our clients’ global immigration programs. T&S offers a wide range of immigration-related advisory services including representations during government audits, preparation of internal immigration policies/protocols, conducting internal “health” checks of immigration programs to ensure compliance, and preparation of detailed reports to aid our clients with budget and overall program forecasting. T&S regularly engages in benchmarking to ensure that our clients are always at the forefront of applicable best practices.
At T&S, we also strongly believe to empower our clients with detailed and relevant information on immigration requirements in a user-friendly format. We continuously keep our clients informed and educated on the latest immigration trends, processes, requirements and best practices.
Besides offering ability to remain in the host country on a long-term or indefinite basis, permanent resident status may also offer other, non-immigration related advantages, including more favorable terms for mortgages, etc. T&S has extensive experience advising companies and employees on permanent residency options, eligibility requirements, timelines and document requirements. Once permanent resident status has been obtained, T&S also works with your employees to ensure that they are aware of the steps that need to be taken (or avoided) to maintain their permanent resident status.
