2-Week Quarantine Period for Travelers to be Introduced

As part of its COVID-19 Recovery Strategy, the British Government announced plans to implement a mandatory 2-week quarantine for those travelers arriving in the UK by air. Upon arrival, travelers will need to provide a contact address where they will serve the 14-day quarantine period. Travelers who are unable to provide evidence of a local address for the self-isolation will need to serve the quarantine period at a government facility. Travel within the Common Travel Area will be exempt from these measures.

Additional details regarding the timing of the implementation of the quarantine requirement, and possible exemptions, are expected to be announced soon and TS will provide further updates when available.
