In-person services at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices have been temporarily suspended since 18 March, including services at its application support centers (ASCs) that also process biometrics requests for Canadian immigration applications. The ASCs are now scheduled to re-open for in-person services on 4 June. We recommend that all applicants who have received biometrics requests from the Canadian immigration agency (IRCC) as part of their pending visa/work permit application to contact their local ASCs and schedule a biometric appointment as soon as possible once the ASCs have reopened.
