Prior to joining T&S, Ruth worked at a large business immigration law firm, focusing on employment-based immigration matters, including but not limited to PERM labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions and adjustment-of-status applications. Ruth also conducted prescreen and job change assessments for clients in various fields applying for various types of nonimmigrant visas.

Ruth began her legal career in the business immigration field in 2015. After several years as an immigration paralegal, Ruth decided to go to law school. Ruth was selected to participate as a Student Practitioner for the Loyola Law School Immigration Clinic in New Orleans, where she gained additional experience working on family-based immigration matters, asylum applications, and special immigrant juvenile applications. Prior to that, Ruth served as the legal intern for the New Orleans Immigration Court. Ruth earned law certificates in Immigration and Citizenship Law and International Law.
