J. Anthony (“Tony”) Smith

Tony is the Managing Partner of our Los Angeles office and provides strategic counseling to multinational employers regarding employment-based immigration process, policy and compliance issues, including mergers and acquisitions, reductions in force, corporate restructuring, outsourcing and other corporate changes.

Tony also counsels immigration clients regarding employer sanction and government audit matters, drawing on his broad and complex commercial litigation and appellate experience before federal and state courts.

In his free time he enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities, losing to his son at golf, and Indian and other ethnic cooking.
