Poland Covid-19 Regulations

  1. Entry Restrictions

International travel to Poland is currently restricted, except for the following passengers:

  • Nationals of Poland and their spouses and children;
  • Residents of Poland;
  • Nationals of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, and their spouses and children;
  • British nationals and their spouses and children;
  • Nationals and residents of Australia, Belarus, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Thailand and Tunisia;
  • Passengers holding residence permits issued by Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, and their spouses and children, returning to their country of residence via Poland;
  • Passengers holding a Pole’s Card;
  • Passengers who are authorized to take up employment under the same rules as Polish citizens, who perform work in Poland, or will present documents showing that they will take up employment immediately after entering Poland, and who are in possession of one of the following:
    • Work permit
    • Certification of registration to perform seasonal work
    • Work contract or statement entrusting a performance of work to a foreigner
  • Foreigners participating in international sports competitions as a competitor, member of the training staff, doctor, physiotherapist, judge, or accredited journalist
  • Scientists conducting research or developmental work in Poland
  • Passengers who are pupils, students, graduate students, and postgraduate students enrolled in Polish educational institutions

2. Quarantine/Self-Isolation Requirements

All travelers who are permitted to enter Poland must undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine at their place of stay in Poland, except for the following:

  • Nationals of Poland and their spouses and children;
  • Nationals and residents of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland, and their spouses and children;
  • Pupils and students enrolled in Polish educational institutions;
  • Crew members on airlines, trains, shipping vessels, or offshore drilling platforms;
  • Persons performing certain work in the oil and energy sectors;
  • Drivers of commercial vehicles transporting goods or passengers.
