India Covid-19 Regulations

  1. Entry Restrictions

All international flights to India have been suspended until 31 December 2020, which the exception of limited relief, repatriation, and humanitarian flights to/from India. Only the following passengers are permitted to enter India on these relief, repatriation, and humanitarian flights to India:

  • Nationals of India and their spouses;
  • Residents of India;
  • Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan;
  • Nationals of Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Canada, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, United States, Ukraine, and the UAE who hold an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or booklet and who arrive from their county of nationality;
  • Passengers holding an OCI card/booklet arriving from Ethiopia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Rwanda or Tanzania;
  • Passengers holding an OCI card/booklet whose travel to India originated in the United Kingdom;
  • Foreign students with at least one parent who is an Indian national or OCI card holder;
  • Passengers with a Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card;
  • Passengers holding valid visas (except for e-visas, tourist visas, and medical visas issued on or before 21 October 2020)

Passengers who are permitted to enter India are subject to medical screening upon arrival and must do the following:

2. Quarantine/Self-Isolation Requirements

Travelers who are permitted to enter India and arrive without a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test issued within 72 hours prior to departure to India may be subject to a 14-day quarantine period (and may be requested to complete an RT-PCR test).
