As of August 4, 2026, the Expression of Interest (EOI) portal for the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream (OWPS) is officially open. 

Employers who support this permanent residence (PR) path will need to submit a job offer in the OINP Employer Portal for the foreign national employee to submit an EOI.  The foreign national employee then receives a job offer ID and has 30 calendar days to register their EOI using that ID. 

The OINP Employer Portal itself is unchanged; however, employers should confirm they still have access and can create job offers for the employees they support. 

EOIs and job offers registered under the former OINP streams that did not result in an invitation to apply have been, or will be, automatically withdrawn. If employers supported an employee under the prior system, that case will need to be reassessed and resubmitted under the new stream.
