New Salary Thresholds
The IND has published updated minimum gross monthly salaries (excluding 8% holiday allowance) for Highly Skilled Migrants, Intra-company Transferees, Blue Card holders, and recent graduates:
- Highly Skilled Migrant / Intra-company transferee, 30+ years: €5,942
- Highly Skilled Migrant / Intra-company transferee, under 30: €4,357
- Recent graduates in the Netherlands or from top international universities: €3,122
- Blue Card holders: €5,942
- Blue Card holders with a degree obtained within the last 3 years: €4,754
Applications submitted after December 31st, 2025, must meet these thresholds.
New Sponsor Requirement: Bank Statements
Starting January 1st, 2026, recognized sponsors will be required to retain bank statements showing salary payments to employees. These statements will serve as additional proof that salaries are paid to employees and that the recognized sponsor therefore fulfills its salary obligations. The statements do not need to be submitted with work permit applications but must be available if requested during an audit. Sponsors are required to retain all salary-related bank statements for at least 5 years after the sponsorship ends.
