September 01, 2009

USCIS today issued an update on their regulation requiring federal contractors to use E-Verify for new hires beginning September 8, 2009.  Implementation of the rule for federal contractors originally developed by the former Bush administration had been postponed to September 8 pending the outcome of a lawsuit as well as review of the regulation by the Obama administration.
